Hello,
a bit about me:

I’m an award winning communications professional with experience crafting clear, compelling messages across broadcast, digital, and social platforms. I’ve worked in live event production, crisis and breaking news coverage, audience engagement, and editorial leadership. I’ve been involved at every stage of the communications process, from strategy and planning to execution and real time response.
I currently work as a Cross-Platform Producer with CNN. I collaborate closely with editorial, digital, and production teams to deliver high impact storytelling for worldwide broadcasts and online platforms. My work supports prime time programming and digital initiatives, helping turn complex, fast moving information into clear, accessible stories for broad and diverse audiences. I’ve also partnered with teams across CNN, including Audio, Special Projects, Special Events, and the Atlanta Bureau.
I have written and produced hundreds of stories for CNN, covering major national and global events. My work includes the Capitol riots, the Uvalde school shooting, the Covid-19 pandemic, the killing of George Floyd, and the 2020 and 2024 elections. I’ve also produced coverage of major natural disasters, including Hurricane Ian, Hurricane Milton, and other severe storms. In addition, I’ve worked on high profile investigative and breaking news stories such as the release of the Epstein files, as well as international conflicts including the wars in Ukraine, Gaza, and Iran.
Before joining CNN, I spent more than a decade in local newsrooms. That experience shaped my foundation in public affairs, live coverage, and community focused journalism. While based in Orlando, Florida, I played a key role in coverage of the 2016 and 2018 presidential elections. I also covered major breaking news and natural disasters, including Hurricanes Irma and Michael. In addition, I worked on high profile legal coverage, including the George Zimmerman and Casey Anthony trials. I also helped write and produce community driven initiatives, such as a full day of reporting on gun safety that concluded with a live town hall bringing together local leaders and the public.
Earlier in my career, I worked at an independent news station in Jacksonville, Florida. There, I helped launch and grow a successful morning newscast designed to inform and connect with viewers. I also served as interim executive producer, leading teams in fast paced, high pressure live environments. These experiences sharpened my leadership skills and reinforced my commitment to thoughtful, responsible journalism.
