Don Lemon Arrested

On February 13, 2026, Don Lemon, former CNN host and now independent journalist, was arraigned in federal court in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he pleaded not guilty to two federal civil rights charges related to his presence at a January‑18 protest at Cities Church. This is the piece I wrote and produced for CNN primetime. 

Iran Unrest

Unrest in Iran preceded the war, beginning in late December 2025 with economic grievances in Tehran’s bazaar that quickly escalated into nationwide protests. Here is a piece I produced for CNN Primetime and CNN International on the government’s violent crackdown.

Beyond the Call of Duty

In August 2022, 20-year-old Abbie Rutledge was pulled over by Alabama State Trooper J.T. Brown for speeding. During the stop, she shared that she was broke and stuck in a dead-end job, unable to afford a ticket. Instead of issuing a citation, Trooper Brown spent about 10 to 15 minutes talking with her about her future and possible career paths. Here is the story I wrote and produced for CNN This Morning. 

Nancy Guthrie Missing

On February 10, 2026, the FBI released several still images and three video clips from a Google Nest doorbell camera at Nancy Guthrie’s home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona. The footage shows a masked, armed individual wearing gloves and a backpack while attempting to obscure the camera lens. I produced this piece for CNN’s Jake Tapper while he anchored from Arizona.

Charlie Kirk's Death

Authorities arrested Tyler James Robinson, 22, in Washington County, Utah, on September 12, 2025, in connection with the killing of Charlie Kirk; he faces charges including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm and obstruction of justice. Black Unemployment

Black unemployment has historically remained higher than the overall US unemployment rate, reflecting persistent disparities in hiring, wages and job stability. Economists track the Black unemployment rate closely because it can be an early indicator of broader labor-market stress.
